  • Condition: Good-Very Good overall antique cond: Estate fresh, new to the marketplace & recently found in a well-appointed North Shore MA estate. Only the very tip of the sword is slightly bent. This is barely noticeable & doesn't interfere w/the sword sliding freely & easily into its scabbard. This late 19th-early 20th c American antique Knights of Pythius highly dec & incredibly ornate ceremonial sword & sheath, is in absolutely unaltered, untouched overall antique cond. The black enamel paint of the hand grip is orig to the sword. Only the knuckle bow chain is now missing & the extreme tip of the sword's blade is very slightly bent. No attempt has been made to try & straighten or correct this. The acid-etched, engraved sword is accompanied by its orig highly dec, ornate & wonderfully detailed scabbard. No effort was spared in realizing this truly fantastic, Victorian era, Masonic & freemasonry American fraternal order sword & scabbard. From one of young America's formerly 'secret societies.'
