    Description

    Antique  Knights of Pythias sword with original scabbard.  It dates back to the late 1800s. The maker on the blade is the MC lilley & co.  Sword length is 36 and the blade 28 inches and 5 inches wide at the guard.  The sword handle is made of wood with wrapped leather and metal wire.  The sword handle, guard and pommel are tight and solid with minimal play in guard.  The sword is old with ware and use.  The blade is clean with nice scroll work on both sides there is wear and age marks loss of finish.  On one side is the knights of Pythais and the other the name side is blank.  The scabbard is clean of rust with typical wear marks and loss of finish.
