Antique/Vintage NEW HOME Wood Sewing Machine COVER Top Case Only Coffin Box. This is most likely from the early 1900's and was a dust cover for a New Home treadle sewing machine.
Measures 18-5/8" long x 10-1/4" wide x 11" high and weighs 4 pounds 10 ounces unpackaged.
The New Home cover has missing bottom molding and there is some damage noted (see last picture). There are scuffs, scratch marks, finish loss, wear and nicks. Being sold "AS IS."
