This is a vial of
vintage etching powder
for Porcelain, China, dolls, and bisque.  In perfect unused
condition, from Fay Good, an Australian painter who sold top quality supplies.   Even though it
’
s called French Acid Etch Paste, it has nothing to do with acid.  It gives the effect of acid etched porcelain without the hazardous acid!
Mix etching powder with water or other drying medium, apply to porcelain where you want your etched designs, let it dry and then use wipe-out tools to etch the design.  Fire as usual.
This is vintage but in virtually unused condition.
