    ITEM DESCRIPTION:
    High Performance Unrestricted AC
    CDI Box
    used with many 50-300cc Honda & Chinese engines found on various Scooters Motorcycles ATVs, Sand / Dune Buggies, Go-Carts, etc. This is a very common CDI found on a huge # of Honda and Chinese models. Replaces Honda Part #s 30410-KM1-008, 30410-KJ9-000, 30410-KB1-930 & 30410-KN7-670 (may replace other Honda part #s).
    NOTE:
    Just because the plugs on the CDI are the same as yours does not guarantee it will work on your machine. There are a few common plug configurations used on all CDIs. You must make sure you have the correct CDI for your machine.
    WARNING:
    CDI boxes contain sensitive electronics, if you plug a DC CDI into am AC system (or vice versa) you have just destroyed the CDI along with your warranty. Any questions? please ask.
    AC or DC?
    DC systems gets 12v DC from the battery, AC systems get AC voltage from the stator. To test which system you have, just turn the key on/engine off and check the power wire at your CDI (see wiring picture) if you have 12 volts, you have a DC fired system, if not, kick the motor over while checking for AC voltage (AC system if you have AC voltage). If you don't have power either way, you either have a wiring problem or a bad stator.
