We buy from major area companies their surplus items, most of which are new, unused items that they no longer wish to stock.   Some have original packing, some are still new but are not in original packing.    We will do our best to describe that for you in our postings.   We can not test all items before shipping, our assumption is, if its new or on occasion factory rebuilt... it works.   We buy from large recognized companies that do not keep in their inventory low quality spare parts.   Used items are identified as such where possible.   Sometimes the factories buy an item, test it out for an intended application, that does not work out as they planned and they shelf the item for potential future use.  Many of our used items are like new because of this.   We do not sell heavily used items, the scrap yard gets those.   Shipping it not cheap, so we bundle quantities occasionally so we can realize a profit on the deal.
Rocky Mountain Surplus sells internationally.    Buyers are responsible for all international shipping fees and import duties.   If you are international, let us know before purchasing and we will work with you to minimize eBay's sometimes flawed calculated fees on international shipments.
